Coming up Saturday, July 15th 2017 is the annual AASFA Summer Picnic! Starting at noon at the Southwest Area Park in Ann Arbor. Come and vote on who you would like to see ConFusion invite as Guests of Honor for 2019 (18 months from now!)

Send nominations for Guests of Honor to:  nominations@aasfa.org (comments/direct replies will not be considered nominations) Include some information about the person and what category they would fall into.

During the picnic there will be a ConCom Meeting. An AASFA Board Meeting will precede the picnic at 10am. (These are open to anyone!)

Mad Hatter Party Was a Hit!

We came. We partied. They voted. We won.

This past Saturday at Penguicon 2017, ConFusion threw a Mad Tea Party and enjoyed the company of all our party visitors. Thank you to all that visited. It was great to chat, learn and laugh with you all. There was a boost in excitement as we heard so many of you were excited about our theme. ConFusion Through the Looking Glass is going to be fabulous and can’t wait for you all to agree.

A few thank yous need to go to people who made the party happen. Anna for bartending. David for badge checking. Ryan, Brian and Karen for helping fluff flowers! Man they were a challenge. Cylithria for chairing Penguicon and Charlie for handling the room parties. Thank you to all of you. If we missed anyone, please, know that your help is greatly appreciated.

An Update on ConFusion 2018 and a Party!

Hello Friends,
Here’s a little bit about what is happening for ConFusion 2018. We voted and the theme that won was: ConFusion Through The Looking Glass. So prepare yourself as we take a trip to Wonderland but don’t be late or it may be off with your head!

The hotel is confirmed! We will be returning to the Sheraton for January 19-21st of 2018. We are working on getting a link for hotel reservations. We will post again when that link is available. Thank you for patience.

In the meantime, if you are missing out on the ConFusion fun or would just want to get a jump on the theme for 2018, come and join us for The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party we will be holding at Penguicon on Saturday night the 29th. For more information on Penguicon click on the link below.
